About Claire Voss

Movement is the way Claire express herself and she is passionate about sharing her knowledge with people.

Her mission is to help individuals master their bodies and to feel more confident in them.

Claire Voss was born in France and began dancing at the age of 4 years old. At 14 she left home to study her craft and eventually become a professional Ballerina. She learned from renowned teachers at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris, and later at the Pôle National de Danse Rosella Hightower. She moved to London at 18 to join Ballet Central. There she toured around the United Kingdom and graduated with a Bachelors of Arts with First Class Honours in Dance.

Her career in the highest circles of professional ballet took off in 2006 when she was invited to join Dortmund Ballet in Germany. After leaving Germany, Claire had the pleasure to work as a Demi-Soloist at other esteemed ballet institutions such as Zurich Ballet in Switzerland, Finnish National Ballet and finished her incredible career on stage in 2022 at West Australian Ballet.

She has performed work by world renowned choreographers such as William Forsyth, George Balanchine, and Marius Petipa, while also lending her grace to interpret principal roles in masterpieces like the Sugar Plum Fairy in The Nutcracker and Myrtha in Giselle.

Her experience extended to choreography when she also had the opportunity to choreograph multiple pieces on the dancers of West Australian Ballet, at private events and for TV commercials.

Injuries being part of the daily life of a high level athlete, Claire was introduced to the Pilates Method and experienced its many health, strength and injury-prevention benefits. She completed her two-year Diploma in Pilates Movement Therapy through the Australian Pilates Method Association in 2022.
